What is SLA 3D Printing?

What is SLA 3D Printing?

Stereolithography (SLA) is the industrial standard for producing high-resolution polymer parts with exceptional surface smoothness and intricate feature detail. At HIGH On 3D, we utilize precision UV lasers to photo-cure liquid epoxy-based resins layer-by-layer directly from 3D CAD data.
SLA delivers tight dimensional tolerances and crisp edge definition, making it the ideal process for visual presentation models, form-fit-function testing, micro-fluidic components, and high-precision master patterns for silicone vacuum casting.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions Indian buyers ask most before starting an injection molding project. Still unsure? Talk to our engineers.

How much does injection molding tooling cost in India?
It depends on part size, complexity and expected volume. Rapid aluminium tooling is far more affordable than production steel and is ideal for pilot and bridge runs. Share your part for an itemised tooling and per-part quote.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Injection molding is most economical from a few hundred parts upward, since tooling cost is amortised across the run. For smaller quantities, vacuum casting or CNC machining is often more cost-effective — we'll advise the best route.
How long does it take to get production parts?
Rapid aluminium tooling typically takes 3-6 weeks, after which parts are produced quickly. We provide first-article samples for approval before full production.
What is the typical turnaround time in India?
Most projects are delivered within a few working days to two weeks depending on size, complexity and quantity. Share your file for an exact timeline — rush options are often available.
Do you provide GST-compliant invoicing and pan-India delivery?
Yes. We are a Pune-based, ISO 9001:2015 certified company offering fully GST-compliant invoicing and reliable, insured delivery across India — Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and beyond.
How do I get started and receive a quote?
Upload your CAD, STL or STEP file through our quote page, or talk to our engineers. We review your design for manufacturability and send a transparent, itemised quote.
