Bridging Prototype to Production

Bridging Prototype to Production

At HIGH On 3D, we bridge the gap between initial product design and full-scale commercial manufacturing. Moving from a functional prototype to market launch often encounters hurdles like high injection mold costs, long tooling lead times, and strict Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs).
Whether you require 10 functional parts, 1,000 production units, or ongoing large-scale batch supply, we guide you to the optimal manufacturing process based on your target volume, mechanical application, material demands, budget, and delivery schedule.
Our integrated facility houses advanced industrial platforms—including Farsoon FLIGHT® Dual-Laser SLS, HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), Vacuum Casting, CNC Machining, and Rapid Injection Molding—delivering end-to-end contract manufacturing under one roof.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions Indian buyers ask most before starting an injection molding project. Still unsure? Talk to our engineers.

How much does injection molding tooling cost in India?
It depends on part size, complexity and expected volume. Rapid aluminium tooling is far more affordable than production steel and is ideal for pilot and bridge runs. Share your part for an itemised tooling and per-part quote.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Injection molding is most economical from a few hundred parts upward, since tooling cost is amortised across the run. For smaller quantities, vacuum casting or CNC machining is often more cost-effective — we'll advise the best route.
How long does it take to get production parts?
Rapid aluminium tooling typically takes 3-6 weeks, after which parts are produced quickly. We provide first-article samples for approval before full production.
What is the typical turnaround time in India?
Most projects are delivered within a few working days to two weeks depending on size, complexity and quantity. Share your file for an exact timeline — rush options are often available.
Do you provide GST-compliant invoicing and pan-India delivery?
Yes. We are a Pune-based, ISO 9001:2015 certified company offering fully GST-compliant invoicing and reliable, insured delivery across India — Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and beyond.
How do I get started and receive a quote?
Upload your CAD, STL or STEP file through our quote page, or talk to our engineers. We review your design for manufacturability and send a transparent, itemised quote.
